Translation Problem
This is a picture from a Textbook of mine. I am trying to figure out Variation Drill 1. I have no idea what it says, and it is even harder to read since it doesn't have any kanji. If anyone can help me figure this out that would be great!

I figured it out, つもり, means intend to do something. So the sentances are of the form, I intended to not do ~ but did ~ anyway.
